Retinal Imaging
Retinal imaging allows us to photograph and view the back of the eye in great detail. This is very important in checking the health of the retina, optic nerve and for detecting the signs of many diseases.
It gives us a permanent record of your retina and is an excellent method for monitoring any changes there. Once the image is captured it can be digitally enhanced to further a more detailed examination of your eye.
Retinal imaging is included with every private eye test. A small fee is payable with an NHS eye test.
